Jonathan Davenport clicked off the quickest lap in Group A during
qualifying, won his heat race, and later drew the pole position
for the start of the 50-lap headliner. After leading laps 2 and
4-17, JD unfortunately bicycled and jumped the cushion in turns
one and two, which ultimately helped drop him back to a sixth place

$10,000 winner's check tonight at Vado (NM) Speedway Park. With
48 Super Late Model competitors in attendance, Jonathan Davenport
laid down the quickest lap in Group B during the time trial session
prior to winning yet another heat race. After leading the first
twenty-six circuits of the 40-lapper from the pole position, Jonathan

Seeks Fourth Lucas Oil Title in 2023!
21, 2022) In 2022, Jonathan Davenport and Double
L Motorsports made the hard decision to not follow the Lucas Oil
Late Model Dirt Series full time in an effort to be more prepared
for the high-paying crown jewel events and for the larger paying
shows. That strategy proved to pay massive dividends, as Jonathan
amassed 24 victories, 55 Top Fives, and 69 Top Tens in 81 races
on his way to accumulating over $2 million dollars in season earnings.
Following the record breaking 2022 campaign, the Batesville, Arkansas-based
team has shifted gears and has announced today their intentions
of following the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series again in 2023
to vie for Jonathan’s fourth National Championship with the
Double L Motorsports, which will kick off their 2023 season in
a matter of weeks during the unsanctioned ‘Wild West Shootout’
at Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico from January 7-15, will
start the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series grind from January 26-28
during the ‘Super Bowl of Racing’ at Golden Isles Speedway
near Brunswick, Georgia. Between then and the series-ending ‘Dirt
Track World Championship’ at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg,
Ohio on October 20-21, the tour will sanction 56 events at 32 different
tracks in 16 states. Along with the over $5 million dollars in purse
money up for grabs, the series recently announced a gargantuan $1
million dollar point fund with $200,000 earmarked for the Champion.

4, 2022) Jonathan Davenport wrapped up his record-breaking
2022 season in triumphant fashion over the December 2-3 weekend
at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida! Following a strong fourth
place performance in Friday's weekend opener - trailing only $20,000
winner Ashton Winger, Tim McCreadie, and Joseph Joiner - Jonathan
turned up the heat on the competition on Saturday evening in the
'Sunshine State 50.' JD timed in second fastest overall during XR
Super Series qualifying, won his heat race, and later took the lead
late in the 50-lap season finale. The Blairsville, Georgia superstar

Jonathan Davenport made the long trip west to Las Vegas, Nevada
pay off with their twenty-third victory of 2022 on Friday night,
November 11 at the pristine Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway!
Jonathan swept the evening, as he earned Fast Time honors during
XR Super Series qualifying prior to winning his heat race. After
starting the 40-lap feature event from the pole position, JD led
each and every circuit to pocket the $20,000 windfall ahead of runner-up
Brandon Overton, Shane Clanton, Tim McCreadie, and Stormy Scott!
In other action in "Sin City," Jonathan
also earned podium performances in the other two XR events that

Rolls to World Finals Triumph for $25,000!
6, 2022) Jonathan Davenport, of Blairsville, Georgia,
upped his 2022 win total to twenty-two on Saturday night, November
5 in the 'World Finals' finale at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte
in Concord, North Carolina! Jonathan ran second in his loaded heat
race last night and later started the 50-lap feature from the outside
of the fourth row. JD then overtook early leader Hudson O'Neal to
grab the point on lap 28 and drove away from the stellar field to

on the racing calendar for Double L Motorsports, as the 42nd edition
of the 'Dirt Track World Championship' was held on October 14-15
at Portsmouth Raceway Park. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
finale drew 68 competitors to the Portsmouth, Ohio venue and a whopping

7, 2022) Returning to where he cut his teeth in
winning the 1995 Mini Stock Track Championship, Jonathan Davenport
vied for the $22,022 top prize on Thursday night, October 6 in the
biggest race in Tri-County Race Track history! Jonathan toured the
Brasstown, North Carolina oval quicker than the other 34 competitors
during Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series qualifying to earn
Fast Time honors, but was unfortunately collected in a heat race
incident. After quick work from his crew in the infield, JD returned
to the track to grab the fourth and final transfer spot through

from the inside of the seventh row in the 'Tarheel 50' and blasted

Keeps Rolling; Wins First Knoxville Nationals Title!
19, 2022) "Superman" Jonathan Davenport
claimed yet another crown jewel victory in 2022 on Sunday, September
18 in the rain-postponed 'Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals'
at the sprawling Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa! Jonathan,
who finished third in Thursday's $7,000 to win prelim and eighth
in Friday's $7,000 to win show, earned the rights to the outside
of the front row for the grand finale that was originally slated
for Saturday evening.
In the daytime contest, which was cut to only 50 circuits
due to tire wear concerns, Jonathan held the point for the first
eight laps before sliding back to the third spot. The Blairsville,
Georgia superstar then got up on the wheel and drove past leader
Tyler Bruening on lap 48 to grab the lead for good. At the checkers,

11, 2022) Jonathan Davenport continued his recent
'World 100' dominance on Saturday night, September 10 at Eldora
Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio by claiming his fifth globe trophy in
the last eight years! Jonathan won his heat race in preliminary
action and later started the 100-lap headliner from the pole position.
After leading the first 37 circuits, JD regained the point for good
on lap 55. The Blairsville, Georgia superstar then drove to his
twentieth win of the year and pocketed the $55,000 first place prize
money ahead of a top five that included runner-up Brandon Overton,
Chris Madden, Tim McCreadie, and Ricky Thornton, Jr.!
Earlier in the long week at the "Big E,"

Competes in $50k Prairie Dirt Classic
31, 2022) "Superman" Jonathan Davenport
invaded Fairbury Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois over the
July 29-30 weekend for the annual running of the 'Prairie Dirt Classic,'
which was sanctioned once again by the World of Outlaws Case Construction
Late Model Series. On Friday night during preliminary action with
81 cars on the grounds, Jonathan stopped the clock only 33rd quickest
in qualifying before advancing past nine competitors during his
$3,000 to win semifeature to land in the eighth finishing position.
After winning his B-Main on Saturday evening, JD was unfortunately
an early retiree in the 100-lap 'Prairie Dirt Classic.' Gunning
for the $50,000 top prize, the Blairsville, Georgia standout was
stuffed into the fence on lap 20 and settled for a disappointing

27, 2022) The Double L Motorsports team and driver
Jonathan Davenport picked up two big victories in the states of
Nebraska and Iowa in recent days to elevate their 2022 win total
to twelve! At I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska during the 'Silver
Dollar Nationals,' Jonathan started off the lucrative weekend with
an impressive runner-up effort on Thursday, July 21 behind only
$12,000 victor Chris Madden. JD then won his first heat race on
Friday night before placing sixth in his final heat race, which
earned him enough points to roll off from the inside of the fourth
row in the 80-lap 'Silver Dollar Nationals' headliner. After Mother
Nature pushed the I-80 finale back to Sunday, Jonathan tracked down
leader Tim McCreadie in lapped traffic on the 74th circuit and bagged
the whopping $53,000 payday ahead of McCreadie, Devin Moran, Mike
