Notches Sixth Victory of 2013 at Cherokee!!!

12, 2013) Jonathan Davenport and the #49 AES Racing team
visited victory lane for the sixth time in 2013 on Saturday night,
May 11 at the renowned Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina!
Jonathan timed in a disappointing twelfth quickest in Carolina
Clash Super Late Model Series qualifying, which locked him into
the outside of the sixth row for the start of the feature event.
JD then blasted to the front of the talented field and grabbed
the lead with only a handful of laps remaining. The Blairsville,
Georgia standout picked up the $4,000 top prize in beating Chip
Brindle, Ricky Weeks, Brent Dixon, and Dustin Mitchell to the
checkers!
On Friday evening, May 10, the AES Racing team was
in the pit area at the Cleveland County Speedway in Lawndale,
North Carolina. In Ultimate Super Late Model Series action, Jonathan
grabbed fast time honors during qualifying, but a broken rear
end in the $4,000 to win feature event relegated him to a disappointing
fourteenth place effort. He also entered his Crate Late Model
in the $1,000 to win show, but engine woes early in the feature

Davenport Competes in 18th Annual Southern 100
(May 5, 2013) The AES Racing team ventured to
the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio on May 3-4 for
the 18th Annual 'Southern 100.' On Friday night during the $4,000
to win tune-up event, Jonathan Davenport set fast time in his
group during qualifying, won his heat race, and later started
from the outside of the second row of the 40-lap main event. JD
then advanced up to second in the A-Main to finish behind only
race winner Steve Francis. On Saturday evening, a $12,000 top
prize was on the line in the 'Southern 100' Championship. Unfortunately,
Jonathan was unable to transfer into the 60-lapper after suffering
an untimely flat tire in his heat race. Complete results from

Seventh at Smoky Mountain; Sees Rain at Tazewell
(April
28, 2013) Jonathan Davenport and his #49 team set out
to the Volunteer State of Tennessee on April 26-27 to compete
in a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdowns at the
Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville and the Tazewell Speedway
in Tazewell. On Friday night at Smoky Mountain, Jonathan timed
in second quickest in Group A during the qualifying session and
later won his heat race despite getting put back a row due to
allegedly jumping the start. After drawing the sixth starting
spot prior to the $10,000 to win main event, Jonathan knocked
on the door to a top five before winding up in the seventh finishing
position.
Saturday's $10,000 to win affair at the bad-fast
"Taz" was then won by Mother Nature. Complete results

Davenport Fifth at 311; Tenth in Trip to WVMS
(April 22, 2013) The AES Racing team competed
in a pair of high-profile Dirt Late Model events on April 20-21
in the states of North Carolina and West Virginia. On Saturday
night, the 311 Motor Speedway in Madison, North Carolina played
host to a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series showdown.
Jonathan Davenport timed in fourth quickest during qualifying,
won his heat race, and later redrew the third starting spot prior
to the 50-lap feature event. The Blairsville, Georgia ace eventually
wound up fifth in the final rundown at 311 behind only winner
Tim McCreadie, Rick Eckert, Josh Richards, and Casey Roberts.
The West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells,
West Virginia then wrapped up the weekend on Sunday with a $10,000
to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battle. Jonathan laid
down the eighth quickest lap in Group A during the qualifying
session and later grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through
his heat race. After starting fifteenth on the grid in the 50-lap
main event, JD worked his way up five spots to notch a tenth place

Ends Weekend with Runner-Up at Smoky Mountain
(April
14, 2013) Jonathan Davenport and the AES Racing team
traveled to the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky
on Friday night, April 12 for the inaugural National Dirt Racing
League (NDRL) event. Jonathan was the fastest car during hot laps,
but later broke a J-Bar during qualifying, which wiped out much
of the rear suspension and caused him not to post an official
time. He started at the tail end of his loaded heat race and advanced
all the way up to third before a flat tire relegated him to an
eighth place prelim finish. Jonathan and the team loaded up their
wounded racecar, did not compete in the $20,000 to win feature
event, and headed back east to the Smoky Mountain Speedway.
The Maryville, Tennessee facility hosted the Spring
Nationals on Saturday evening, April 13 and a $6,000 top prize
was up for grabs. Jonathan laid down the third quickest lap in
his group during the qualifying session, which locked him into
the outside of the third row in the 50-lap main event. JD was
on the move early in the A-Main and climbed to as high as second
to finish a strong runner-up behind only winner Tommy Kerr. Full

Recent Hot Streak with 311 Clash Victory!!!

7, 2013) After the disappointment of narrowly missing
out on making his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start
at the Martinsville (VA) Speedway, Jonathan Davenport turned his
weekend around on Saturday evening, April 6 at the 311 Motor Speedway
in Madison, North Carolina. Jonathan laid down the second quickest
lap during Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series qualifying,
which locked him into the outside of the front row for the start
of the 40-lapper. JD then grabbed the point from polesitter Kenny
Compton, Jr. on the nineteenth circuit and led the remainder of
the distance en route to the $4,000 payday. The Blairsville, Georgia
standout reached the finish line ahead of Ricky Weeks, Luke Roffers,

to Enter NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Event!
(April
1, 2013) Following his huge $30,000 payday over the weekend
in the 'Carolina Crown,' Jonathan Davenport will now focus on
a big weekend in which he will try to make his first NASCAR Camping
World Truck Series start! Jonathan will team up with MAKE Motorsports
to drive their Advanced Electronic Services sponsored #1 Chevrolet
in the 'Kroger 250' at the exciting Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway,
Virginia. Practice and pole qualifying will take place on Friday,
April 5, while the start of the 'Kroger 250' is scheduled for
1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, April 6. The Blairsville, Georgia
Dirt Late Model star will then make the trip to the 311 Motor
Speedway in Madison, North Carolina on Saturday evening for a
$4,000 to win Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series program.

Banks $30,000 for Dominating Carolina Crown!!!

31, 2013) Blairsville, Georgia star Jonathan Davenport
recorded one of the biggest wins of his career over the weekend
at the Lancaster Motor Speedway in Lancaster, South Carolina,
as he banked $30,000 for dominating the 2nd Annual 'Carolina Crown.'
On Friday night, March 29, Jonathan timed in sixth quickest during
the qualifying session and later took the win in his heat race.
Following a third place effort in the dash on Saturday, JD rolled
off starting from the inside of the second row in the 60-lap main
event. "Superman" grabbed the point from Steve Shaver
on lap 25 and drove to a commanding victory over Shaver, Scott
Autry, Steve Francis, and Tim Allen!
In other action at Lancaster, the AES Racing team
competed in a $2,000 to win NDRA Crate Late Model Series showdown
on Friday evening. Jonathan timed in third fastest in qualifying,
won his heat race, and later posted a fourth place effort in the

Second Straight SAS Victory Saturday at SMS!!!

24, 2013) Jonathan Davenport, of Blairsville, Georgia,
recorded his second straight Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series
(SAS) victory on Saturday, March 23 in his first-ever race at
the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee! Jonathan
set a New Track Record during the SAS qualifying session to earn
the pole position for the 40-lap main event. The popular driver
known as "Superman" then grabbed the point from leader
Ray Cook on the ninth circuit and came out on top of the hotly-contested
battle to claim the $5,000 payday. Jonathan beat Cook, Steve Casebolt,
Dale McDowell, and Billy Ogle, Jr. to the checkers last night

Wins $4k at EAMS; Finishes 3rd in Crate Late Model!
(March
17, 2013) The AES Racing team ventured to the East Alabama
Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama on Saturday, March 16 for
the 28th Annual 'Jimmy Thomas Memorial.' In Southern All Stars
Dirt Racing Series (SAS) action, Jonathan Davenport set fast time
during the qualifying session with a lap of 14.012 seconds to
earn the pole position for the 40-lapper. JD, who was behind the
wheel of his #49 BWRC machine, then paced the stellar field from
green to checkers to score the $4,000 triumph over Clint Smith,
Jake Knowles, Hunter Peacock, and Riley Hickman!
Jonathan also entered the $1,000 to win Crate Late
Model portion of the 'Jimmy Thomas Memorial' at EAMS. He started
thirteenth on the grid and charged past ten competitors to score

of Racing Action for #49 Team Over Weekend!

11, 2013) Jonathan Davenport and the #49 team were ultra-busy
over the March 8-10 weekend, as they entered a trio of high-profile
races in the states of Georgia and Tennessee. On Friday night,
the Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia kicked off the tripleheader
with a $4,000 to win, unsanctioned program. Jonathan laid down
the fastest lap of the 35 entrants during qualifying and later
started the 40-lapper from the pole position. After pacing the
field for the first nineteen circuits, Jonathan wound up a strong
second behind only race winner Dale McDowell.
Next up for the AES Racing team was a trip to the
historic Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee on Saturday
evening for the 18th Annual 'Shamrock.' JD timed in fifth fastest
in his group during Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS)
qualifying and later placed third in his loaded heat race. After
starting the $10,000 to win main event from the inside of the
fifth row, Jonathan crossed underneath the checkers in the tenth
position following 50 caution-free laps.
The triple shot of racing action wrapped up on Sunday
afternoon with 'Late Model Mania' at the Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia,
Georgia. Jonathan posted the fourth quickest lap during the Ultimate
Super Late Model Series time trial session, which earned him the
outside second row starting spot in the $5,000 to win feature.
With passing at a premium during the 50-lap daytime affair, the
Blairsville, Georgia ace placed fifth in the final rundown behind
only winner Riley Hickman, Chris Madden, Mike Marlar, and Clint

4, 2013) The AES Racing team made the overnight journey
to the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina for a Sunday
afternoon (March 3) tilt. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series
(SAS) presided over the 11th Annual 'March Madness' and a $10,000
top prize was on the line. Jonathan Davenport did not record the
lap he wanted to during qualifications, but moved up four spots
in his heat race to finish in the third position. After starting
the 60-lapper from the inside of the fifth row, "Superman"
charged past five competitors on his way to a fourth place effort
behind only winner Jared Landers, Steve Francis, and Randy Weaver.

Caught Up in Bama Bash Wreck; Awarded Crate Win!
(March
3, 2013) Jonathan Davenport and the AES Racing team rolled
into the Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama on March 1-2
for the 16th Annual 'Bama Bash.' In Super Late Model action, Jonathan
timed in fourth quickest in his group during qualifying on Friday
night and later finished third in his heat race. JD then started
the $16,016 to win, 75-lapper on Saturday from the inside of the
sixth row, but was caught up in an early wreck and retired in
the nineteenth position.
Behind the wheel of his #49 Crate Late Model, Jonathan
laid down the fourth quickest lap overall during time trials and
later took the win in his heat race. The Blairsville, Georgia
ace was then scheduled to start from the pole position of the
A-Main on Saturday, but the race was cancelled due to the heavy
snow showers that cut short the Super Late Model event. Track
officials decided to pay drivers for their starting spots, so
Jonathan was awarded the victory and received the $2,016 winner's
